MISSMAN ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE, SERVICE IMPROVEMENT, PROMOTIONS

In an effort to provide the best service to our clients with maximum flexibility, Missman, Stanley and Associates has become Missman, Inc. This move will allow us to attract and retain the best and brightest employees, therefore enhancing this service to our many dedicated clients. Missman, Inc. has also formed a company called the Missman Group to handle specialized “out of the box” projects in Eastern Iowa and West Central Illinois. “Our dedication to exceeding client expectations will not be surpassed”, said Patrick Eikenberry, President/CEO.

Business line centers have been implemented, providing streamlined areas of expertise to our clients.  Missman will no longer focus efforts on geographic locations.  Instead we will focus on building Centers of Excellence in the areas of Transportation, Municipal Engineering, Horizontal Structures, Vertical Structures, Surveying, Land Development, Environmental Engineering, and Construction Administration services. “We will bring to our clients exactly what they are looking for”, Eikenberry reported to the Stockholders.

Part of Missman’s commitment to exceed client expectations fall on the shoulders of Greg Ryckaert.  Greg has been promoted to Vice President of the firm, responsible for Municipal Engineering services. His extensive expertise in providing Municipal Services for over 25 years has enabled Missman to double their services to local communities over the past 10 years.

Bob Strombeck was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Principal of the firm. With nearly 40 years of experience, Bob has guided Missman to financial stability during several economic down turns throughout his career. “His proven leadership has kept Missman in a good place”, Eikenberry said.

“These are exciting times and I am confident that we have the right people in the right positions to see Missman prosper and grow.  I truly believe our employees are our most important asset.  Without them we have no clients”, said Eikenberry.

Missman is a multi-disciplined professional services firm providing civil and structural engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting services to clients in the commercial, institutional, government, municipal water/wastewater, and transportation markets throughout the Midwest. The company employs approximately 70 people and has corporate headquarters in Rock Island, Illinois and regional offices in Bettendorf, Iowa; Rockford, Illinois; and Sycamore, Illinois.

Missman and the 2011 John Deere Classic

Missman was pleased to be part of the plus-70 sponsors of the 2011 John Deere Classic Tournament.  On October 31, John Deere Classic officials announced that the 2011 tournament helped raise a record $5.29 million for nearly 500 local and regional charities.  This is a record increase of $950,000 over last year.

The $5.29 million total includes 100 percent of every dollar raised through the highly successful Birdies for Charity program, according to Birdies for Charity Director Kristy Ketcham Jackson.

The Tournament ranks among the top five in charitable giving on the PGA Tour.  Missman is proud to sponsor such an event and to help support those in need in the Quad Cities.
