SERVICES

Due Diligence Environmental Site Assessments

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E 1527-05)
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are the tool generally used to fulfill the innocent landowner defense to CERCLA Liability. The Phase I ESA is used to satisfy the due diligence requirement by reviewing the history of development on the subject property. Our standard turn-around time to complete a Phase I ESA is two weeks.

Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Missman’s professional staff can design and implement a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment intended to determine the presence or absence and magnitude of contaminants of concern. Our professionals have utilized many intrusive investigative techniques, including hand augering, geoprobing, and auger drilling. Phase II Environmental Assessments may include collection of soil, groundwater, or air samples for chemical analysis. Soild and groundwater sample results are compared to standards developed by the state.

Mold
Missman’s environmental staff includes scientists trained in performing mold inspections and preparing mold abatement protocol. Our staff can collect bulk and air samples for laboratory analysis.

Wetlands
Missman has Environmental Scientists trained in performing jurisdictional wetland determinations and delineations. We are experienced in obtaining 404 permits from the Corps of Engineers for both small and large wetland impacts. We also have experience and expertise in preparing wetland compensation plans and performing wetland monitoring.
